Students will undertake practical work, integrated with screenings and discussions that will place their learning in a craft and creative context. The degree includes a strong collaborative component, which will help students develop a sound understanding of how their specialist role fits into the production process. Students will learn through a problem-based curriculum, active learning in small groups and practical placements that give them an opportunity to combine theory and practice. Students will be able to begin practice in a wide range of film production settings. They will also develop research skills that will help them respond effectively to the changing nature of the industry.
