The Bachelor of Midwifery (Mount Gambier) provides students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to provide care, support and advice to women during pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatally. There is a strong focus on theory and practical experience, and students learn in a unique, clinician led, authentic simulated hospital and health service on campus. Students have the opportunity to practice their skills through real-life scenarios and will feel confidently prepared for clinical practice. The simulated hospital environment is fully led by practicing registered nurses and midwives.
